Night of Cult Classics, Featuring CARRIE, ROCKY HORROR, HEDWIG & More, Coming to Feinstein's/54 Below This Fall

On Saturday, September 30th, at 11:30pm, cult classic musical lovers will gather at 54 Below for a late night concert of songs from their favorite under-appreciated shows.

Featuring a lineup of Broadway performers and emerging artists, the evening will highlight songs revolving around the themes of activism, identity, and propaganda. Proceeds will be donated to the ACLU.

Realizing how deeply rooted these themes are in cult classics and wanting to do some good in the world, Theresa Burns (director/performer), Jessica Hanson (associate director/performer), Brian Scanlan (producer), and Bruce Baumer (musical director/host) have come together to help raise money for an important organization while simultaneously providing an evening of unique entertainment.

From the director - "The ACLU has had their hands full since January. When horrifying legislation is passed or tweeted, the ACLU immediately jumps in to defend those affected. They are fighting like crazy and we want to help. Now, we are not lawyers, but we are huge theatre nerds and performers who love cult musicals. So, come have a few drinks with us and help us help the ACLU."

Featuring MJ Rodriguez (A.R.T.: Burn All Night. Tv: Luke Cage and Film: Saturday Church), Brad Giovanine (The Great Comet), Kris Roberts (Beautiful), Robert Zelaya (Kinky Boots tour), Theresa Burns (My Big Gay Italian Wedding), Jessica Hanson (Reefer Madness), Yamuna Meleth, Darrell Purcell Jr. (Uber Allies), Kabir Bery, and Stephanie Lourenco Viegas.

Audience members will be treated to tunes from Side Show, Carrie, Reefer Madness, The Rocky Horror Show, Heathers, Bat Boy, Urinetown, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and more! We see you shiver with antici.........pation!
