Broadway star Krysta Rodriguez and composer Joe Iconis have been announced as artists for the upcoming New York Public Library Songbook Series, taking place January 25th. Additional casting includes Katrina Rose Dideriksen, Lance Rubin and Jason "SweetTooth" Williams, all members of what is affectionately known as the Joe Iconis "Family."

The series is presnted by Arts and Artists at St. Paul and will take place at the Bruno Walter Auditorium. The event will feature the songs of Joe Iconis, Jonathan Larson Award winners. The evening will be directed by John Znidarsic.

Joe Iconis is currently working on the new musical, BLOODSONG OF LOVE: THE ROCK ‘N' ROLL SPAGHETTI WESTERN, which will open at Ars Nova in Spring 2010. He is the recipient of an Ed Kleban Award, a Daryl Roth Award, and a Jonathan Larson Award. His theatrical rock concert, THINGS TO RUIN, has played two critically- acclaimed engagements, at The Zipper Theater and at Second Stage Theatre. His garage rock musical, THE BLACK SUITS, played SPF at the Public Theater, his three-part rock musical REWRITE played Urban Stages, and his family rock musical for TheaterWorksUSA, THE PLANT THAT ATE DIRTY SOCKS, completed a summer run at the Lortel Theater and a national tour. In addition to his theater work, Joe has played numerous sold-out gigs with his ROCK AND ROLL JAMBOREE show, a sort of musical theater/ rock'n'roll collective made up his (very very talented!) friends. Joe frequently performs at Joe's Pub, The Laurie Beechman Theater, Ars Nova, and Sardi's.

Katrina Rose Dideriksen attended Durham School of the Arts in high school. She later studied at New York University Steinhardt School of Education before attending an open call for Hairspray. After winning over the producers, Katrina was first sent to the Toronto Hairspray cast and then joined the touring company. Katrina originated the role of Tracy for The Luxor production of Hairspray in Las Vegas opposite Harvey Fierstein. Dideriksen performed as Shawntel and Eve in the Carnegie Hall performance of Jerry Springer: The Opera, in the GLSEN benefit performance of Zanna, Don't as Roberta, and in Bernice Bobs Her Mullet in the New York Musical Theatre Festival. She is also a consistent member of Joe Iconis's musical family, performing in shows such as Things to Ruin, Joe Iconis and Friends In Concert, and The Joe Iconis Rock and Roll Jamboree.

The concert will take place January 25th at 6:00pm. Tickets to the event are free.
