Back by popular demand, Sophie Jaff and Gaby Alter reprise their sold-out Duplex cabaret that explores the highs and lows, and further lows, of New York dating and life. The show features such sugar-sweet ditties as "The Island of Lost Men," "I'm So Happy For You," and "My Nazi Boyfriend."
The show is Thursday, March 18th at 9:30 pm at The Duplex, 61 Christopher Street. Admission is $10 plus a two drink minimum. 21 and over only.

For reservations, call 212-255-5438 or visit http://www.theduplex.com/webcalendar/view_entry.php?id=4906&date=20100318

NTWB is directed and choreographed by Jessica Redish (THE ADDING MACHINE) and stars MAC award winner Cait Doyle (HOT MESS IN MANHATTAN), Jason "Sweettooth" Williams (BLOODSONG at Ars Nova), Molly Hager (FAT CAMP) and Liz Kimball. Additional music was written by Kathy Tagg.

Sophie Jaff wrote book and lyrics for the children's musical A SHELTER IN OUR CAR, which the New York Times called a "poignant, sensitively written and buoyant show" and which is being produced again in 2012 by Making Books Sing. Her first children's book THE ADVENTURES OF LULA THE DISCONTENTED COW was published in 2005 (Human and Rousseau). She'll be the featured artist in April in the Songbook Series presented by the Arts and Artists at St Paul, at the Bruno Walter Auditorium. Other musicals include STORY OF AN AFRICAN FARM with Rob Hartmann and ERIKA'S WALL with Kathy Tagg, which will be produced by The Music Theatre Company in Chicago this July.

Gaby Alter is a 2008 Jonathan Larson award winning composer/lyricist. His musical BAND GEEKS! will receive a production at Goodspeed Musicals this May. Other musicals include REALITY! with Itamar Moses (2008 Cape Cod Theatre Project); and 29 with Tommy Newman (produced in 2007 at NYU Steinhardt). His work has been featured at NAMT, NYMF, SPF, Barrington Stage, Joe's Pub, Merkin Hall and on Sirius Radio. Additionally, he writes music for PBS television, public radio, films and video games.
