Hailed by New York Times as a "classically trained diva who can stretch from Broadway pop-soul to Opera", N'Kenge was recently seen in the Broadway Musical "Sondheim on Sondheim" as the standby for Vanessa Williams, Leslie Kritzer and Erin Mackey which was directed by James Lapine at the Roundabout Theater's Studio 54.

This season N'Kenge recently made her Carnegie Hall debut as a soloist with the New York Pops Orchestra with conductor Steve Reineke to a sold out concert alongside other noted singers Ann Hampton Calloway, Michael Feinstein and James T Lane. N'Kenge had the honor of performing for President Barack Obama at the Commander-in-Chief's Inaugural Ball, and sang "God Bless America" on national television for the Los Angeles Dodgers opening game, arranged by legendary Motown founder, Berry Gordy Jr.

N'Kenge, a recent graduate of the Juilliard School, is noted both for her vocal range, versatility and show-stopping stage presence. She sings in 11 languages, seven musical genres and received a Helen Hayes Awards nomination for "Outstanding Lead Actress" for 3 Mo' Divas at Arena Stage. Other credits include starring in West End's "The Genius of Ray Charles" at the Haymarket Theater in London. N'Kenge made her cabaret debut in her own one-woman show -"Last Diva Standing" - to a sold-out concert at the Metropolitan Room followed by "DivaLicious" at the Triad.

Back by Popular Demand, N'Kenge returns to the Triad in her new show"Holiday Magic" featuring lavish choreography from Charmaine Trotman. Joining N'Kenge will be Music Director Charles Czarnecki (Jersey Boys),along with Maxime de Toledo (Guiding Light, Metropolitan Opera) as a special guest.
