Beginning January 20th, 2019, award-winning musical theatre composer and singer-songwriter, Drew Gasparini will produce and host a brand new live concert series at Rockwood Music Hall (Stage 3) in New York City showcasing local writers and performers.

I've always related to multi-faceted artists. The artists who cannot be defined by just one thing. Singers who write. Actors who direct. Painters who perform. Anyone who has so much to say that they need several artistic avenues through which to say it. Those are the artists that I'm excited to showcase in this concert series!

Drew Gasparini & Friends is an exclusive monthly concert series where audiences get to discover brand new music and brand new artists. Every month Drew will play a set of new songs from one of his projects in development (a new, never before heard set every month!), and then he will introduce a featured artist who will play a set of their own new music. These will be intimate evenings, like hanging in Drew's living room getting to know some of his favorite fellow writers and performers.

The first installment of the series on January 20th will showcase featured artist Jane Bruce (Jagged Little Pill). Additional dates include March 26th with featured artist Kelly McIntye (A Night With Janis) and April 29th with featured artist Josh Walker (RENT Tour).

All profits earned over the course of the year will be donated to arts in education programs. Tickets are $10, and donations will be accepted as well.

Performances will begin at 8:30PM at Rockwood Music Hall, Stage 3, located at 185 Orchard Street. For tickets and more information visit http://www.ticketfly.com/event/1800999.
