Tony Award Winner and Grammy Award Nominee Milly Shapiro (Matilda The Musical) and triple threat sister Abigail Shapiro (The Grinch Who Stole Christmas) will be taking the stage at 54 Below on Monday, June 9th in "The Shapiro Sisters: Live Out Loud". This will be their third performance at 54 Below following Abigail's run as Cindy Lou Who in the regional production of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas and Milly's tenure originating the role of Matilda for the original Broadway production of Matilda the Musical at the Shubert Theatre.

Monday's show will include a special performance from the other three Original Broadway Matildas: Sophia Gennusa, Oona Laurence, and Bailey Ryon. The cabaret will also feature Andrea McArdle. Past musical guests for their shows at 54 Below include Lesli Margherita and Andrew Lippa. Musical direction is by Michael Moritz and direction by Deborah Kym.

All proceeds from the event will benefit No Bully, a non-profit that brings innovative, sustainable solutions to bullying and harassment in schools.

The Shapiro Sisters have recently been featured for their work in both The New York Times and on ABC 7.

The Shapiro Sisters hosted the Connecticut High School Musical Theater Gala on Monday, June 2nd, with "talent well beyond their years and were charming hostesses". They performed throughout the evening, while Milly Shapiro "performed a 'Let It Go' from, well, you know where, that brought down the house."
