Michelle Dowdy has performed over 400 performances as Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray (standby) on Broadway. Has performed Tracy internationally, and most recently at Dallas Theatre Center. Currently in The Marvelous Wonderettes, (Betty Jean), Off-Broadway. A nightlife and cabaret scene favorite in concerts all over NYC, she was the 2017 Mac Award WINNER for Piano Bar Entertainer of the Year - as a singing mixologist at the world famous Don't Tell Mama. Joshua Stephen Kartes is a freelance composer, arranger, pianist, vocalist, and Joseph Jefferson Award-winning musical director. He is co-creator, music director, arranger, and orchestrator of the critically acclaimed Broadway Sings concert series at Highline Ballroom. He is the music director and pianist for Broadway Sessions at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. Music direction, orchestration, and arrangement credits also include James Brown Live (starring Nick Rashad Burroughs; Joe's Pub), The Cooper Clan All Together (starring Chuck Cooper, Lilli Cooper, Alex Cooper, and Eddie Cooper; Lincoln Center's American Songbook series), All That Matters Now (starring Laura Michelle Kelly; 54 Below), Baptized by Broadway (starring Marisha Wallace and Nick Rashad Burroughs; 54 Below and BB King), Living La Vida Grande (starring Frankie James Grande; New York, Los Angeles, and London), Jinkx Sings Everything (starring Jinkx Monsoon; Laurie Beechman Theatre).
Mitchell Walker is a NYC based Director, Artistic Director of The Rusty Anchor Acting Company, and Record Producer having worked with Music Legend Greg Calbi, Two-Time Grammy winner Alex Venguer. Album, So Good for Alexa Green (Wicked), was released on Broadway Records and won "Broadway World Solo Album of the Year." He has directed shows for Janine DiVita (Anything Goes, Grease), Michelle Dowdy (Hairspray), Victoria Cook (Into The Woods), and Amy Toporek (Marvelous Wonderettes) at Feinstein's/ 54 Below, Joe's Pub, The Metropolitan Room, and Birthday Boy the Musical Off-Broadway at The Davenport Theatre.
