Michael Wartella, Amy Jo Jackson & More Set for BROADWAY SESSIONS, 12/11

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. This Thursday, December 11th, Broadway Sessions welcomes Wicked's Michael Wartella alonsgide a bevy of belting beauties including Amy Jo Jackson, Diana Huey, Sherz Aletaha, Ang Bocca and more.

-Michael Wartella currently stars as Boq in WIcked. Other credits include Wicked (national tour) and Rent (Off-Broadway). Wartella will be a featured in the upcoming Tuck Everlasting at The Alliance Theater.

-Amy Jo Jackson is a actress/singer and sought after dialect coach. Her work can currently be heard in Broadway's Kinky Boots. Diana Huey is a Helen Hayes award winner from her performance of Kim in Miss Saigon at The Signature Theater. Sherry Aletaha has appeared Off Broadway in the hit Disaster The Musical and Spring Alive. Ang Bocca is a Philadelphia singer/recording artist. Bocca's EP will be released in 2015 and her new music video "Stranger" will be released on Christmas day.

-The evening will also feature performances by actor/singer Scott Montgomery as well as sneak peak of the upcoming Broadway Au Carre -from Paris to New York concert. Featuring the music of writing team Paul Loesel and Scott Burkell.

-The evening will also feature a very special appearance by current Broadway Eplphaba, Christine Dwyer.

-Broadway Sessions will have a special late start time this week. With doors opening at 10:45, with show time at 11pm. Open mic party will follow the show.

Broadway Sessions takes place every Thursday evening at The Laurie Beechman Theater inside The West Bank Café located at 407 west 42nd street (corner of 42nd street and 9th avenue). 212-695-6909. Doors open at 10pm for open mic. Showtime at 11. $5 drink specials all night. $5 cover includes a donation to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids.
