On Friday, November 9, 2012 at 9:30PM, Michael Pesce's Old Fashioned Piano Party will return to The Laurie Beechman Theater.

What started in Michael Pesce's living room with friends, a little wine, spinach dip and a piano has become an annual live event at the Beechman Theater.  The Old Fashioned Piano Party is an evening of friends, family and song hosted and performed by Michael Pesce and featuring some of the most charming and talented musical theater performers in NYC. 

Michael Pesce's performing party guests include Thea Brooks (Dirty Dancing nat'l tour), Alexa Green (Wicked nat'l tour), Colin Israel (High School Musical nat'l tour), Marissa Mulder (Illusions), and Derrick Trumbly (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Chicago and Mama Mia, Las Vegas).   The party with be directed by Michael Pesce with Laura Brandel and musical directed and accompanied by Jason Wetzel.  For a preview of the party, follow this link.
 
Michael Pesce was most recently seen in New York City this past spring as Mr. Powell in New York Theater Barn's development production of Speargrove Presents.   He also read and recorded the latest demo of Ken Davenport'sSomewhere In Time earlier this year.  As an actor, some favorite shows include The Student Prince (Paper Mill), My Fair Lady (Paper Mill), The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber starring Petula Clark, (National Tour), The Wind in the Willows(Syracuse Stage), A Wrinkle in Time (Syracuse Stage). Other New York productions include The Flood (Prospect), Corpus Christy (kef), A Christmas Carol (Personal Space Theatrics) and kef's Artists Rising concert at Theater Row. Regional credits include Guys & Dolls, Music Man, Joseph, Damn Yankees & Forever Plaid.  Michael has worked as a singer in multiple benefits and concerts produced on Broadway as well as a regional guest solo artist with the Syracuse Symphony Pops, the Long Island Sound Symphony and the Ukrainian Symphony Europa. Michael has also chased his dear friend Lindsey Alley (The New Mickey Mouse Club) all over the Mediterranean, Mexico and the Caribbean as her musical director and cabaret partner for Atlantis Events.  Michael holds a BFA in Musical Theater from Syracuse University
 
Michael Pesce's Old Fashioned Piano Party will take place on Friday, November, 9th 2012 at The Laurie Beechman Theater, located at 407 W 42nd St. (lower level of The West Bank Café) www.westbankcafe.com The Doors open at 9PM and performance begins at 9:30PM.
