Two Time MAC Award nominee Michael Kirk Lane (Hell's Belles), brings his show "Glass Half Full" back to Don't Tell Mama for two encore dates this fall, Mondays 9/10 and 10/22 at 7pm. Musical Director William TN Hall joins Lane, along with featured performers Laura Pavles and Sean Bernardi. Direction is by Jay Rogers
Lane says the show, which originally debuted in April, "focuses on how to lift our spirits, and find some hope in the world we've all been living in during the past two years." The show features songs from Bob Dylan, Neil Diamond, Stephen Schwartz, and The Muppets, among others.
In their reviews of the show Bart Greenberg of Cabaret Scenes said, "It was musical comedy heaven." and Michael Barbieri of Nitelifeexchange said the show is "a needed tonic for the angst and upset that have affected many of us in the last couple of years"
Lane who was seen in the 2015 Off-Broadway production of Hell's Belles, is also a member of the voice cast for the children's web series "The Flying Tent." Additionally he is a frequent collaborator and backup singer for "RuPaul's Drag Race" contestant Ginger Minj.
