Postponed from last January when the fake blizzard closed New York City, Broadway Unplugged, the critically acclaimed annual concert returns! It's the show where today's stars sing great show tunes the way they used to be performed on Broadway: without a microphone! It's the pure human voice soaring to the rafters, showing an awestruck audience, once again, that they've got the same chops as the great stars of yesteryear. New York's critics have said every year that this is one of the most thrilling concerts they have ever witnessed. Broadway Unplugged always get sensational stars -- and this year is no exception. Look at this cast that is still growing:
Michael Cerveris (6X Tony Nominee with 2 Wins - including last Night for Fun Home), Stephanie J. Block (Tony Nominee),
Carolee Carmello (3X Tony Nominee),
Marc Kudisch (3X Tony Nominee),
John Easterlin (4X Grammy Winner),
Vivian Reed (2X Tony Nominee), Michael Cavenaugh (Broadway revival of West Side Story as Tony),
Jenny Powers (Broadway Revival of Grease as Rizzo),
William Michals (Lincoln Center revival of South Pacific as Emile de Beque),
Christopher Johnstone (
Carnegie Hall),
Molly Pope ("The Downtown Diva"),
Bill Daugherty (Every Single Broadway Unplugged!), and more to be announced!
