FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed "Best of New York" by New York Magazine, and "an invaluable New York institution" by The New York Post, continues its 10th Anniversary season with the debut of world renowned recording artist, Michael Amante. His new show, "The Name Of Love: An Intimate Evening of Romance and High Cs," will feature Italian classics and pop standards. He will be accompanied by his Music Director Ron Abel on piano, Sammy Lazzara on drums and Ray Kilday on bass. The show runs Monday, August 24 and Tuesday, August 25 at 8:30 PM at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

Michael Amante has performed to sold-out audiences across the country from New York's Lincoln Center and Town Hall to Heinz Hall in Pittsburgh. His debut album, Michael Amante, topped Billboard Magazine's 2002 charts at #1 for Top Midline Classical Artist, and #5 for Top Midline Classical Album. Amante has been hailed as "The Fourth Tenor," by Regis Philbin and "The next Mario Lanza" by Tony Bennett. The New York Times declared "this swashbuckling Italian tenor exhibits both the voice and charisma of a crossover star."

Amante's latest album Ready For More, was released in 2007 and includes some of Amante's dearest romantic tunes, including a few original tunes by song writers the late Ron Miller along with his daughter Lisa Miller, Bill Fayne and Herb Bernstein. The album also features "It's Impossible", a special duet with the late great Sergio Franchi, who has been called "One of the greatest Romantic Popular Tenors of the 20th century." His latest project Amante Salutes America is focused on the production of a patriotic album, which will provide financial support to organizations benefiting United States Disabled Veterans.

Amante has appeared on "Live with Regis Philbin," ABC's "The View," "The Best Damn Sports Show, Period" with Tom Arnold, "Fox 5 Morning Show," "The Tony Danza Show," and "Emeril Live." His PBS special, entitled "Michael Amante" received a regional Emmy Award nomination and has been used by Public Broadcasting to raise tens of thousands of dollars during their annual pledge drives.

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY will present Michael Amante on Monday, August 24 and Tuesday, August 25 at 8:30 PM. The shows have a $25.00 cover with $40.00 premium seats, both with a $25.00 food and beverage minimum. Jackets are suggested but not required.
