The West Bank Café announces our March, 2008 line-up of live entertainment, to be presented in The Laurie Beechman Theatre. The West Bank Café is located at 407 West 42nd St., at 9th Avenue. For reservations, please call 212.695.6909, between the hours of 12pm and 6pm.

This February, the theatre is pleased to announce an exciting and eclectic line-up of performers and performances, all of which will take place in the gorgeous eighty seat venue.

Please note there is a $15 food and/or beverage minimum at each performance, with the exception of The After Party & New York Underground. All major credit cards are accepted.

The After Party
Every Friday from 10:30pm to 3am

No cover, no minimum

This weekly open-mic schmoozefest for the theatrically inclined has become the hit of midtown, hosted by iron-lunged Brandon Cutrell and Alysha Umphress, with Ray Fellman at the keys and Lisa Asher behind the bar (her pour is as ferocious as her belt). Come hang and belt out a showtune or two. No cover, no minimum. You never know who might drop by.

Following a sold out run last December, Ben Rauch is back as everyone's favorite musical theatre obsessed community theatre outcast from NJ who's one dream is to be on Broadway. This guy probably has the worst teeth to hit the theatre scene since… well no one has worse teeth.  This show is appropriate for families and any big name people in the industry that want to give Horace his first job.

Four women share their stories in song, all in some way affected by this "dis-ease". Metastatic disease occurs when breast cancer spreads to another body system. MBCN is the proactive voice in the breast cancer community, dedicated to easing fear of metastatic disease, ending isolation, exposing misconceptions, and developing strategies for living with the disease and coping with treatment. And most important MBCN will continue to fight for the development of treatments to extend life as the search for the cure continues.

The Snake Oil Show is a variety show featuring fast paced entertainment full of comedy and music. This show features comics Tom-e and Brent Sullivan and singer songwriters Robert German and Paul and Maddy Wyatt.  Mentalist Eric Walton brings his own brand of entertainment and card tricks to the table. The Snake Oil Show seeks to cross the boundaries between stand-up comedy, cabaret and performance art in a queer but straight-friendly environment.
