What Would Petula Do? is a cabaret show where you can forget all your troubles, forget all your cares. In 75 minutes, the show exuberantly follows the course of Petula Clark's extraordinary career from her early, popular recordings in the 1940s, through her mega-stardom in the 1960s, to her award-winning performances in film and on Broadway right up to the 1990s.
Maxine Linehan made her professional debut with The Irish Operatic Repertory Company at age 17. Notable roles throughout the years have included: Polly in Crazy for You, Nancy in Oliver!, Maria in The Sound of Music, and The Lead Nurse in the first national touring company of Lincoln Center's TONY award winning South Pacific. Maxine then produced and starred in the critically acclaimed, off-Broadway production of Brontë A Portrait of Charlotte. In 2014, Maxine performed her solo show An American Journey at Birdland and Terminus Recording Studios, which led to her first live studio album. In 2014, Maxine performed a sold out run of her show Beautiful Songs at New York's Metropolitan Room and released her third CD, Beautiful Songs.
