Marty Thomas Presents 'DIVA BE A DIVA' Competition Grand Finale Tonight

Marty Thomas Presents DIVA features NYCs finest female vocalists paying tribute to the greatest icons throughout history. The show performs weekly at 11 PM in midtown Manhattan hotspot, Industry Bar. It has also been seen around the country, as well as on Off Broadway and Broadway stages.

In its fourth year, the show has featured such acts as Shoshana Bean, Shayna Steele, Rachel Potter, Alysha Umphress, Lena Hall, Eden Espinosa, The Glamazons, The Skivvies, Ramona Keller, N'Kenge, Saycon Sengbloh, Kate Rockwell and many many more.

To expand its talent pool, Industry Bar embarked upon a talent search that began September 15. Tonight is the GRAND FINALE, where the top finalists battle it out for the title.

Every Monday for the past ten weeks at 11 PM, 12 dynamic female vocalists have been going toe to toe before panels of celebrity judges. They have been competing for a sizable cash and prize package, plus the opportunity to return for tonights finale, where they can take it all! The grand prize winner will take home a $1000 cash prize, as well as paid bookings with Marty Thomas Presents DIVA and an exciting prize package. Prizes include but are not limited to a headshot package with famed photographers Kevin Thomas Garcia, David Perlman, Jovanni Jiminez and Barrymoore Photography, a sizable acting class package with The Actors Connection, a gym membership with Equinox gyms and so much more.

You get to select the next great nightlife divas! Weekly votes have been counted at the live shows, and through social media. Among those competing this year were Sarah Elle Daniels, Courtney Rada, Molly Mastrangelo, Krista Antonacci, Aja Goes, Mayme Marshall, Elissa Goldstein, Marissa Pontecorvo, Christina Cataldo, Kelsey Griswold and Krysi Kroft. Our top four finalists competing tonight are Sarah Elle Daniels, Galyana Castillo, Christina Cataldo and Elissa Goldstein. You get to vote for your favorite tonight.

Tonight's finale also boasts guest celebrity judges Alysha Umphress (ON THE TOWN, PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT, AMERICAN IDIOT), Cesar Rocha (Bernard Telsey Casting), Mallory Hagan (Miss New York 2012, Miss America 2013), Michael Cassara (Michael Cassara Casting) and composer Scott Alan.

The show is hosted/produced by Marty Thomas. Thomas has appeared on Broadway in Xanadu, The Secret Garden and Wicked, and is currently starring off Broadway in Pageant the musical. He's a Grammy Nominated recording artist and a former Ed McMahon's Star Search Champion. With his experience in the recording industry and musical theater, he created DIVA to feature strong female talent paying tribute to his ultimate idols.
