Hot off his forty-city book tour promoting his book Blackouts and Breakdowns, Mark Brennan Rosenberg is bringing his musical book reading series "How to Date A F+++ing Loser" which enjoyed three sold-out performances last fall, back for a one-night only event benefiting the Forty-Sixth Street Clubhouse, an organization that helps the LGBT community deal with problems related to alcoholism. The event will take place on Saturday June 23 at 9:30 at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre located at 61 Christopher Street in New York.
"How to Date A Fu+++ing Loser: Reloaded" will feature excerpts from Rosenberg's books Blackouts and Breakdowns and Eating My Feelings (debuting next year) as well as never before heard, unpublished essays from his third book. Once again, Rosenberg will be joined onstage with Megan Crain (debut album currently available at www.megancrain.com), Nikki Kimbrough (Dreamgirls) and Sally Schwab (A Broadway Diva Christmas). Jess Stewart will musically direct.
"How to Date A F**ing Loser: Reloaded" is described as a 90 minute book reading set to music where Mark will teach the audience how to meet the most ineligible bachelors in the New York tri-state area. Rosenberg and his "diva girls" will instruct you on how to end up alone, bitter and with a giant set of blue balls. By the end of the night, it's promised that you too will know exactly out how to date a f***ing loser.
The event is $15 as well as a two drink minimum. To make a reservation, please visit: http://www.theduplex.com/webcalendar/view_entry.php?id=6728&date=20120623
