Broadway actor, singer and songwriter Marcus Paul James returns to the 54 Below stage with a night of R&B in his show Love and Soul. With Brian Whitted leading the band, Marcus turns the stage into a soulfest with a mix of Broadway, covers, and original tunes - out to prove that the modern-day balladeers and crooners are still alive and well.

Marcus is currently a part of the cast of Broadway's "MOTOWN THE MUSICAL". He was last seen in the off-Broadway revival of "RENT", where he reprised his role of Mr. Jefferson and "Seasons of Love" soloist. Before that, he was a part of the Broadway closing casts of the Tony Award-winning shows "In the Heights" and "RENT", as well the movie "Rent: Filmed Live on Broadway". Marcus has released two albums of his own music, as well as been featured on multiple up-and-coming composer albums including Scott Alan and Bobby Cronin.
