Jim Caruso is proud to present the return of singer Luba Mason to the Broadway at Birdland concert series on Monday, March 7 at 7pm. Birdland is located at 315 West 44 Street in NYC.
After living in Los Angeles for the past 12 years,
Luba Mason has moved back to NYC, and will be celebrating the city of her birth by infusing a story of newly arranged standards in a "cool, Brazilian style" with original songs, and reprising selections from her last two critically-acclaimed albums "Krazy Love" and "Collage". Material in this concert will also include "All Of Me," "Love For Sale," "Too Darn Hot," "I Love the Sunrise" among others. There will be a special guest appearance by Luba's husband, Grammy-winning musician, singer and songwriter
Ruben Blades.

Luba Mason was plucked straight out of The Circle in the Square Theater School and NYU's Tisch School of the Arts by
Tommy Tune to perform in her first Broadway hit the Tony Award - winning The
Will Rogers Follies. Eight more Broadway shows followed along with guest starring roles on LAW & ORDER, NYPD BLUE, RAINES (opposite
Jeff Goldblum) and soaps ONE LIFE TO LIVE, ALL MY CHILDREN and ANOTHER WORLD. No stranger to the nightclub circuit, Luba completed her 2009 Krazy Love tour with sold out shows at LA's famed Catalina Bar & Grill, Yoshi's in Oakland, Blues Alley in DC, World Cafe in Philadelphia, Regatta Bar in Boston and was the opener for Wayne Shorter at the 2009 Panama Jazz Festival and Costa Rica's International Music Festival. Luba was guest vocalist on
Ruben Blades' 2003 Grammy Award - winning CD "Mundo," and has been hailed as "a celestial voice" by the Los Angeles Times.
