A Broadway regular makes a live album!

Lucky attendees at the upcoming FOR THE RECORD concert at the Metropolitan Room featuring Broadway stalwart Liz Callaway will also be a part of the live album being recorded at the event tonight.

Callaway originally posted the news to Facebook, writing, "Two weeks from tonight (Tues. July 28) I'll be at NYC's Metropolitan Room for one night only in "For the Record"! This show will feature songs I've always wanted to record, some of which will be included on my upcoming album, The Essential Liz Callaway. Hope to see you there!!"

The official description of Liz Callaway's FOR THE RECORD is as follows: "In anticipation of the fall release of her upcoming album, The Essential Liz Callaway, Liz returns to New York's Metropolitan Room for one night only in "For the Record." The show will be recorded live, and feature songs Liz has always wanted to record, some of which will be included on the new CD. Come be a part of this exciting event!"

Additionally, Callaway has released several solo albums and has toured the world extensively both as a solo performer and with her accomplished sister, Ann Hampton Callaway.
