John MacDonald & Maggie Maes' production of LIGHTS & MUSIC, written by PATRICK CERVANTES LETTERII & directed by JEREMY QUINN, will extend its run at the 45th Street Theatre, through August 10th.

Four disenfranchised youths struggle with love, friendship & the absurdity of life in their small apartment microcosm. LIGHTS & MUSIC deals with a lost generation growing up in a chaotic post 9/11 world. The only thing protecting them from the outside world is their apartment. But when the world comes to them, they are forced to make a difficult decision in order to discover their place in all of this.

The characters (and the actors) in LIGHTS & MUSIC are all in their 20s. They wrote, produced, designed & even sold advertising to raise the money to present this show.

Likewise, the music featured in the play is a reflection of a new generation of artists. The soundtrack features the well-known Canadian band Born Ruffians, New York- based mandolinist Beauregard, & Boston-based Berklee super-group Wifflebat.

Featured in LIGHTS & MUSIC are Nicholas Bonnar, Patrick Letterii, John MacDonald, Haley Rawson & Lindsay Teed.
