This weekly open-mic schmoozefest for the theatrically
inclined has become the hit of midtown, hosted by iron-lunged Brandon Cutrell
and Alysha Umphress, with Ray Fellman at the keys and Lisa Asher behind the bar
(her pour is as ferocious as her belt). Come hang and belt out a showtune or
two. No cover, no minimum. You never know who might drop by.

Just in time for Valentine's Day, Jackie Draper returns to
the Laurie Beechman Theatre with her new show, The Language of Love. Joined by
Ritt Henn on bass, Musical Director Gregory Toroian at the piano, and special
guest – dancer Franklin Ayala – Jackie travels with Gershwin and Porter,
through Weill and Nash, via Trenet and Legrand, down Loesser Lane, with nods
along the way to Duke, Lehrer, Mercer, and Bucchino, among others, whose

we'll be putting our best foot forward as we salute romance with dinner, a
champagne toast, a special musical performance by two of New York's most esteemed cabaret performers
and much more. Expect to hear treasured love songs as well as sassy, swinging
tunes from a wide range of composers, from musical theatre to exciting
contemporary compositions. Lisa and Brandon will place their unique stamp on a
