On December 2, indie art-rock band Sky-Pony (pictured) will hit the stage at Joe's Pub. Since its formation in 2012, Sky-Pony has garnered a cult following for sets that blur the line between rock show and theatrical event. They've played sold-out sets at venues including Joe's Pub, Mercury Lounge and the Knitting Factory.

The band is led by Lauren Worsham(singer/actress currently appearing in A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder on Broadway) and her husband Kyle Jarrow(Obie Award winning playwright/composer best known for A Very Merry Unauthorized Children's Scientology Pageant and Hostage Song).

Deli Magazine describes Sky-Pony as "Rock performance artists... you're never quite sure what to expect." New York Daily News writes "Brooklyn-based indie rock band Sky-Pony isn't your average group. They incorporate costumes, choreography and mixed media elements in their high-energy shows."

It all happens on Monday December 2 at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette Street, NYC). Sky-Pony hits the stage at 9:30pm. Tickets are $15. More info at http://www.joespub.com.

Sky-Pony is a Brooklyn based band that serves up lush, lyrical, often cheeky indie-pop with a healthy dose of theatrics. They incorporate costumes, choreography, and projections into their high-energy live shows. Rock concert meets performance art meets burlesque, you might say. Their discography includes two EPs: Say You Love Me Like You Mean It and Raptured Live, both available on itunes. In addition to Worsham and Jarrow, Sky-Pony also features the talents of Kevin Wunderlich, Lizzie O'Hara, Kristine Piacentile, Megan Stern (emeritas), Jessi Suzuki, Perry Silver, Eric Day and David Blasher.
