This Christmas season, C3 Church Manhattan and youth homeless shelter Covenant House are bringing together their creative community and Broadway stars to raise awareness and much needed funds to provide care for the homeless children of New York City.
On December 14 at 6PM, Broadway stars Laura Osnes (2 time Tony Nominee, Cinderella, Bonnie & Clyde), Kathleen Monteleone (Hands on a Hard Body, Legally Blonde The Musical - National Tour), Tanya Birl (How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying), and harmonic trio Manhattan Moonshine - Jamison Scott, Kevin Massey and Patrick Massey (Memphis, Bonnie & Clyde) - will unite to perform in The Wonder of Christmas - a magical journey of the true meaning of this season.
"Each year as part of our 'LOVE NYC' inititative we partner with other charitable organizations that are having a positive impact on our local NYC community to help raise funds and mobilize our congregation to help in a very practical way," explains Senior Minister of C3 Church Manhattan Stephen Hickson. "Covenant House is doing amazing work with the youth in our city and we are honored to partner with them and our Broadway community to help."
C3 Church Manhattan is starting their Christmas celebrations this weekend, December 7 at 6pm with their creative team performing The Words of Christmas; December 14 at 6pm Broadway stars unite; December 21 at 11am C3M Kids will showcase their talent that culimnates to a carols service at 6pm. A pre-service coffee lounge complete with live acoustic music from 5.30pm will also be part of the celebrations.
All services will take place at The TimesCenter at 242 W. 41st Street between 7th and 8th Ave.
