Laura Michelle Kelly, Alysha Umphress & More Celebrate Musical Director Joshua Stephen Kartes At Broadway Sessions Tomorrow

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida, Footloose, Dance Captain Dance Attack web series) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. This week, on a special WEDNESDAY night, Broadway Sessions celebrates musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes birthday with an 'Open Mic Bash!'.

On hand to serenade the birthday boy will be Tony nominee Laura Michelle Kelly (Finding Neverland, The King and I, Mary Poppins), Alysha Umphress (On The Town, Smokey Joe's Cafe), Jaime Cepero (SMASH), Margaret Kelly (Les Mis), Corey Mach and more.

The show will have a special early start time 9:30pm doors, show at 10pm

Audience members wishing to sing can sign up when doors open at 9:30pm.

Broadway Sessions takes place every Thursday evening at The Laurie Beechman Theater inside The West Bank Café located at 407 west 42nd street (corner of 42nd street and 9th avenue). Showtime at 11. $5 drink specials all night. $10 advance/ $15 at door cover includes a donation to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids.
