Laura Bell (Legally Blonde) will be bringing her own blend of country music called "y'alternative" to The Cutting Room located (19 West 24th Street) when she sings from her popular debut album "Longing for a Place Already Gone." She will be performing with her band on October 2 at 8PM and October 18 at 11:30PM.

Laura Bell, a native of Kentucky has country music in her soul. She has been influenced by such artists as Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash and Elvis to name a few. "Longing for a Place Already Gone" is inspired by those country music idols and from Country Music from the 1940's.

Co-produced and co-written with her well respected music partner Larson Paine, this album is full of original songs such as "The C-Word," written about her passion for chocolate, "Between Me and You" inspired by their parent's relationship, the popular ballad "Lovin' and Lyin'" and some good ole fashion country fun with "Designated Drunk," and "I'll Make the Money" including their own hillbilly dance rendition of Billy Idol's "Dancin' With Myself."

Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased by calling the Cutting Room 212-691-1900 www.smarttix.com.
