Kiki Ebsen Tributes Her Father, Buddy Ebsen, at the Met Room Tonight

Kiki Ebsen, daughter of legendary TV/film/theater star Buddy Ebsen will be appearing live in New York City for one night only tonight, October 8th at 9:30 PM at The Metropolitan Room jazz club in a multimedia concert tribute to her dad. The live show, "TO DAD, WITH LOVE -- A TRIBUTE TO BUDDY EBSEN," will feature Kiki performing at the piano and singing with her jazz band including noted NYC musicians sax man David Mann, keyboardist Henry Hey and drummer Clint de Ganon.

Kiki will also tell stories about her dad's legendary career and his friendships with many Hollywood stars including Shirley Temple, Audrey Hepburn and even gangster Al Capone. Songs performed will include music from her latest CD, "Scarecrow Sessions," featuring standards from her father's illustrious stage and screen career such as Kiki's re-workings of "Over The Rainbow," "Laura," "You Don't Know What Love Is," "Moon River," "If I Only Had a Brain" and "Comes Love."

Kiki will also be showing videos and photos of her dad's career and talk about special moments in Buddy's life and career including his starring roles in the hit TV shows, "The Beverly Hillbillies" and "Barnaby Jones" and in films including "Breakfast At Tiffany's," "Captain January" with Shirley Temple and many more. She will be signing copies of her cd after the show. Kiki has toured throughout the world as a backup keyboardist and vocalist and worked with recording artists including CHICAGO, Al Jarreau, Boz Scaggs, Dolly Parton, Christopher Cross, Melissa Etheridge, Gloria Estefan and Dolly Parton. She herself is a prolific songwriter and pianist/keyboardist.

Tickets for the concert can be purchased at www.metropolitanroom.com. The Metropolitan Room is located at 34 West 22nd Street in Manhattan. The concert will also be seen via Live Stream and Kiki will autograph copies of her cd after the concert.
