Kelli Barrett & Klea Blackhurst Join Lineup for 17th Annual BROADWAY UNPLUGGED

Kelli Barrett, star of such recent Broadway shows as Gettin' the Band Back Together and Dr. Zhivago, plus multi-award winning nightclub star Klea Blackhurst, have just been added to the all-star cast of this coming Saturday night's 17th Annual Broadway Unplugged at the Merkin Concert Hall. These two stars join a cast that already includes Tony Award winner Chuck, Cooper, 2X Drama Desk winner Lisa Howard, 4X Grammy Winner John Easterlin and more.

Broadway Unplugged concert creator/writer/director/host Scott Siegel promises this will be an extraordinary night of musical theater history!

The show that features "Sound Design by God," with Broadway stars singing without microphones, the way it used to be done on Broadway, has become a much-beloved tradition.This annual concert has been praised by the NY Times, The Daily News, Playbill.com, The Huffington Post, Broadwayworld.com, Theatermania.com, and countless others. More to the point, audiences adore it, and Broadway stars love to perform in it.

The list of stars who have performed "Unplugged" in this concert event is a who's who of Broadway belters, from Sutton Foster to Marc Kudisch, and from Emily Skinner to Chuck Cooper.
