54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Kate Rockwell in "Broadway Baby of the 80s" tonight, February 17th, 2015 at 9:30 pm.

Seen recently on Broadway as the 1980s diva Sherrie in Rock of Ages now Kate Rockwell (Bring it On: The Musical, Hair, Grease: You're the One That I Want) is ready to bring you back to the days of big hair and big Broadway musicals in her new show, "Broadway Baby Of The 80s". Kate will return to the 54 Below stage in her debut solo show as she uses her powerful voice to explore gems of the 1980s from musicals like Dreamgirls, Miss Saigon, March of the Falsettos and more. This pop-Broadway diva is going back to her roots to sing some of the biggest hits of 1980s Broadway - after all, she did learn to sing from listening to the original cast recordings of Phantom of the Opera and Les Miz! Kate's performance as mean-girl Skylar in Bring it On garnered praise from the New York Times, saying "Ms. Rockwell bites into her role with pert, enjoyable mean spirits." So get ready for a like, totally radical night of 1980s Broadway songs at Broadway's Supper Club.

With music direction by Rick Bertone (Avenue Q), Rockwell will be joined onstage by Taylor Louderman (Bring It On: The Musical; Peter Pan Live! On NBC) and Justin Matthew Sargent (Rock of Ages, Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark; Bonnie and Clyde).

Kate Rockwell in "Broadway Baby of the 80s" plays 54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on February 17th, 2015 at 9:30pm. There is a $30-$40 cover charge and $25 food and beverage minimum. Tickets and information are available at www.54Below.com. Tickets on the day of performance after 4:00 are only available by calling (646) 476-3551.

Kate Rockwell was most recently seen on Broadway in the smash hit Rock Of Ages as leading lady Sherrie Christian. Other Broadway credits include originating the role of Skylar in "Bring It On: The Musical", the 2009 Tony Award-winning revivial of "Hair", and playing Margot in "Legally Blonde". She has toured the country with three First National Tours and appeared regionally at North Shore Music Theater, the Muny in St. Louis, and Westchester Broadway Theater. She was a finalist in the 2006 NBC reality show "Grease: You're the One That I Want" and was seen in "Sex and the City: The Movie" as Young Samantha.
