Kate Dawson presents the second encore return of her wildly successful show The Asshole In My Head, her hysterical one-woman show told through stories and song. Directed by Don Amendolia (33 Variations, Stepping Out, My One And Only) with Musical Direction by Doug Oberhamer (Thoroughly Modern Millie, Swing). This limited run of 4 performances will begin at The Triad on October 25th at 7:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased at www.smarttix.com or call 212-868-4444.

Like thousands of other hopefuls, Kate Dawson, arrived in New York City from Champaign, IL with dreams of "making it big." Things started out pretty swell. She landed an agent and a slew of high profile shows. But the work wasn't consistent, and she was slowly dying a little inside. She quit her agency, put away her headshots and sang along to EVITA only in the shower. The voice in her head just seemed to say, "I suck!" But, it didn't stop there. It challenged her to look fear straight in the eye and say "And I am Telling You I'm Not Going!" And thus began the battle, Kate versus the Asshole... Will she win? Will she succumb to the voice? Will you buy your tickets please?

The Asshole In My Head is written by and stars Kate Dawson (A Christmas Carol); with Collaboration by Lauren Cohn (The Suite Life of Zack & Cody).

The Asshole In My Head will be performed on the following schedule at The Triad (158 West 72ND Street) Sun, Oct 25 @ 7 PM; Mon, Nov 9 @ 7 PM; Fri, Nov 13 @ 9:15 PM;Sun, Nov 15 @ 8:00 PM. All tickets are $20 and can be purchased at www.smarttix.com or at 212-868-4444
