Upon graduating cum laude as a Trustee Scholar at Boston University College of Arts, the budding storyteller moved to New York City to study acting. Kate soon began performing at the Century Center, La Mama, National Black Theatre of Harlem,
Don't Tell Mama, and many other venues. This chanteuse's theatrical background enables her to engagingly create a heightened reality in her songs, while her years of living in the city bring a deeper truth to her mysterious lyrics.
