Mr. Leone's show at Feinstein's features the music of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Dean Martin, Louie Prima, Mario Lanza, Perry Como and others. The evening's special guest will be vocalist Lynn DiMenna and will also include reminiscences of Leone's upbringing in the Italian-American hamlet of Weymouth, Massachusetts, where he got his start in show business at his father's social club, the Sons of Italy. The show, which features David Brunetti on piano, Frank Wagner on bass, John Redsecker on drums and direction by Bob Spiotto, takes place at the Loews Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

John Leone is an actor, singer, director, and teacher whose two decade career as a performer has taken him throughout the United States, to starring roles in film and on television, and to Broadway. John got his start in show business as a singing busboy at his father's social club and his professional acting career began with regional theater, where he appeared in everything from Shakespeare (Claudio in Much Ado About Nothing at The Public Theater in Boston) to Sam Shepard (Slim in Cowboy Mouth at The Barter in Virginia) to musicals (opposite Jose Ferrer in Fanny at The Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey) and progressed to Off-Broadway, most notably when he played Chuck in the acclaimed production of Avenue X at Playwrights Horizons.

John's big break came when he was offered the role of Marius the Broadway company of Les Miserables. A stint in Los Angeles introduced John to the world of television. He played featured roles on numerous sitcoms, including "Coach," "Misery Loves Company," and "Models, Inc." Back in New York, John appeared on all three of the "Law & Order" franchise show. He received critical acclaim for his recurring portrayal of the smarmy sports agent Ricky Williams on the Showtime series "Soul Food." Film credits include the roles of Mathew Cipri in Machiavelli Rises for New Line Cinema and Jason in Love, Mom opposite Tonya Pinkins.

John returned to the musical stage in 2002, touring the country as Charles Lightoller in the 1st National of Titanic. At the tour's completion, John was asked to return to his two alma maters, Hofstra University and The Neighborhood Playhouse, this time as a teacher of acting and voice, positions he holds to this day. In 2005, John was back on Broadway in the Tony award winning smash Jersey Boys, first as an understudy and eventually as the late great Four Season Nick Massi.

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY will present John Leone on Monday, March 21 at 8:30 PM. The performance has a $25.00 cover with $40.00 premium seats, in addition to a $25.00 food and beverage minimum.
