Nathan Lee Graham comes to Joes Pub on Monday, August 31 at 9:30 PM. Graham is a multi-faceted Broadway star, Hollywood actor, and Grammy winner.
From the backwoods of "Sweet Home Alabama" to Broadway, from the Hollywood Hills to getting "Hitch"ed, Nathan Lee Graham does it all.
Having played such award-winning roles in "The Wild Party," and a Grammy for Classical Recording, Nathan takes on every challenge, like playing twins on "Scrubs", one straight and one gay. He kicked off the 2008 theatre season with the critically acclaimed role of Kafka's the Hunger Artist in "Three Lost Chords." Next was "Wig Out," directed by Tina Landau, - "a gutsy, pulsing portrait of uptown drag queens and the men who love them have reinvented the world from the ground up."
Next, Nathan Lee Graham goes from Broadway to the headline a cabaret/poetry show, "An Upright One Night Stand" in Hollywood and to work on 2 new feature films, Bob King's "Tarzana" and another upcoming Disney movie.

Davi Vieira (of STOMP) is coming to Joes Pub on Tuesday, September 1 at 9:30 PM. This songwriter-vocalist is a 10 year veteran of STOMP!
Percussionist, songwriter and vocalist, Davi Vieira was born in Salvador-Bahia-Brazil where he studied capoeira and Afro-Brazilian dance with Raimundo Bispo Dos Santos (Mestre King). In addition to touring through Europe, Asia, Africa and The Americas with several bands and dance companies, he has played and recorded with several artists such as Grammy Award Winner Steve Earle, Grammy Award Winner Angelique Kidjo, Grammy award Winner Carlos Santana, Grammy Award Winner Sergio Mendes, David Byrne, Miho Hatori, Giada Valenti, Sun Ra, Wyclef Jean, Yerba Buena, Baby Do Brasil, Deborah Blando, Tandishuwa, Bebel Gilberto, Vinicius Cantuaria, and Maria De Barros to name a few. Davi is a member of Forro in the Dark and a founding member of Ogans and MD MCs a Brazilian hip hop/rap group featured on a Tommy Boy Records compilation, Planet Rap. Davi was a member of the Off-Broadway Show STOMP for ten years and now he's working on his solo project HIP HOP AXÉ / An Afro-Brazilian-Pop Sound.
