ELIZABETH COOK
at 7:00; $12
In contemporary country music, it's a rare performer who will dare to take on the industry on her own hogs-and-kisses terms. But for the artist whom Nanci Griffith has called "this generation's Loretta Lynn," it takes a certain tenacity to meld smart attitude with classic tradition, the credibility of a life lived with genuine hillbilly passion, and the integrity to write an acclaimed cache of uncommonly cool songs.

NYC's own Rachael Sage returns to Joe's Pub to celebrate the national release of Delancey Street, her 9th album on MPress Records. Inspired by her ancestral and current home, the Lower East Side, the album is a musical exploration of identity and cultural and family history. The key to Jason Michael Carroll's success is evident in every note he sings - live or in the studio - and it lies in his authenticity. Carroll knows how to connect with fans, and together with hard work, undeniable talent, and good looks, that connection has launched one of country's most impressive young careers. Rivers Rutherford has earned eight No. 1 songs recorded by the likes of Brooks & Dunn, Tim McGraw, Gretchen Wilson, Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, Trace Atkins and Rodney Adkins.
