Joe Iconis (Be More Chill), Jim Brochu (Zero Hour), Rebecca Eichenberger (The Phantom of the Opera), Andrew Leggieri (The Bandstand), and Ryan Scott Oliver & Lindsay Mendez's Actor's Therapy NYC have joined Feinstein's/54 Below star studded tribute to Boston's Colonial Theatre, which will take place on April 19th & 20th, 2016, at 9:30pm.
They join the previously announced Anita Gillette (Cabaret) Amanda Green (High Fidelity), Clyde Alves (On the Town), Don Pippin (La Cage Aux Folles), Kevin David Thomas (A Little Night Music), Ken Billington (Chicago), Penny Worth (Chicago), Spence Ford (King of Hearts), Rebecca Spigelman (Hairspray), George Lee Andrews (The Phantom of The Opera), and Todd Buonopane (Cinderella). Jennifer Ashley Tepper (The Untold Stories of Broadway) will be the evening's emcee.
Members of Actor's Therapy NYC slated to appear include: Roger Dawley, Allison Griffith, Megan Griffith, Michael Hajjar, Deirdre Donohue, Jeremy Konopka, Matthew Macfarland, Jennifer Reed, Erin Rice, Cori Stolbun, Sean Switser, and Sean White
In addition to hearing the music of the great writers whose works debuted on the stage of Boston's famed Colonial Theatre, including Rodgers & Hammerstein, Cole Porter, Jerry Herman, Kander & Ebb, and Stephen Sondheim, there will be a trivia contest, original songs celebrating the Colonial, and messages from such artists as Hal Prince, Lynn Ahrens, Stephen Flaherty, and Robert Morse.
Robert W. Schneider, co-host of Behind The Curtain: Broadway's Living Legends podcast, will direct and produce the concert. Joshua Zecher-Ross is the evening's musical director.
54 CELEBRATES THE COLONIAL THEATRE plays Feinstein's/54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on April 19th and 20th, 2016, at 9:30pm. There is a $35-$45 cover charge and $25 food and beverage minimum.
