Jesse JP Johnson to Celebrate GINGER LOVE Release at The Bitter End, 9/8

On September 8th, Jesse JP Johnson will celebrate the release of his new EP, 'Ginger Love' with a concert at The Bitter End. The 9:30pm concert will feature songs from the EP as well as additional original material and covers. Back ups by Ryah Nixon (BEACHES, 9 to 5) and Melody Davi (42nd STREET NAT TOUR, Head Trainer/Instructor- Body Conceptions by Mahri) and special guest performance by Alison Luff (GHOST, WICKED). The band will be comprised of Ben Rauhala (Piano), Will Hastings (Guitar), Eli Katz Zoller (Bass) and Collin Stranahan (Drums).

The EP, 'Ginger Love' will be released on iTunes September 1st and is a celebration of new beginnings and love! All the songs are within the genre of pop/gospel. All songs were composed and written by Jesse on his ukelele while he was on tour with WICKED. The songs were then transcribed for the EP by Lou Garrett (Guitarist, WICKED NAT TOUR). The music has an upbeat and feel good vibe that will get you out of your seat, dancing no matter where you are. 'Please use caution while listening in car.'

Jesse JP Johnson recently came off of the 1st National Tour of WICKED where he played the role of Boq. He has also been seen on Broadway in WICKED, GLORY DAYS, XANADU and ALTAR BOYZ.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door on the night of. The Bitter End is located at 147 Bleecker St. Two drink min. Twerking required.
