For two more performances, July 14 & 28, 2018, Bistro Award-winning Cacophony Daniels (aka Jersey Boys's Courter Simmons) marches into New York's storied Don't Tell Mama with "Wanna Bette?," a live-singing cabaret tribute to the one and only Bette Midler.

Simmons is currently the stand-by for Frankie Valli, the starring role, in the off-Broadway production of the Tony-Award winning musical Jersey Boys. After 2 performances as Frankie since he started July 6, he's ready to throw back on the wig and heels and dive into the Bathhouse Beauty's songbook.

With a five-piece band directed by Clinton Sherwood (Book of Mormon) and arrangements by Kyle Branzel, "Wanna Bette?" is a fun, campy, uproarious evening of songs from the Divine Miss M's entire career to welcome her back to Broadway to for the final weeks of the record-breaking run of Hello Dolly!

Performed as only Cacophony can - in their original keys - featured songs will follow the Ms. Midler's career from her start on Broadway in Fiddler on the Roof, through her Grammy-Award winning albums The Divine Miss M and Experience the Divine, all the way through her Oscar-nominated film roles in The Rose and For The Boys.

Michael Musto of the New York Times says Cacophony is "spinning, belting, and high-kicking fun" and Gerry Geddes of BistroAwards.com calls Cacophony "Perfection."

Tickets are $20 (with a 2 drink minimum) and reservations can be made at donttellmamanyc.com or by calling 212-757-0788.

Always the loudest girl in the room, singer, actress, over-the-top drag diva, and nightlife personality Cacophony Daniels has been featured on NBC's The Mysteries of Laura (The Mystery of the Popped Pugilist), at Broadway Sessions, and in venues throughout New York City. She is currently the co-host of Broadway Mondays at Hardware Bar with Sutton Lee Seymour. Committed to fighting the HIV/AIDS epidemic, Cacophony is also a volunteer and spokesperson for HIV Smart.

Tickets: $20 + 2 drink minimum. CASH ONLY. Reservations online at https://www.donttellmamanyc.com/shows/main/4659-cacophony-daniels-wanna-bette-7-14
