On Broadway, DiVita has been seen in "Grease" (Rizzo), "Anything Goes" (Reno cover- performed), "The Mystery of Edwin Drood" (Wendy/Miss Isabel Yearsley, sole cover for Edwin Drood and Rosa Bud-performed), Elizabeth in the First National Tour of Mel Brooks' "Young Frankenstein, as well an Anne and first cover for Elizabeth in "If/Then." .
DiVita's concert work spans the globe. She has performed with Broadway Rox, Edmonton Symphony, and at 54 Below in Manhattan, among others endeavors.
Other theatrical credits include: Karen Sloan in original company of "National Pastime" (BCP), Pearl in "A Walk on the Moon" workshop (NY Stage and Film), Dot in "Sunday in the Park with George" (HRT), Nancy in "Oliver!" (WST), Rosie in "Bye Bye Birdie" (SMC), Young Little Edie in "Grey Gardens" (PCS), Terri in "Sophisticated Ladies" starring Maurice Hines at Arena Stage, Lady of the Lake (KC Starlight), and Woman #1 and #2 in Kander and Ebb's "The World Goes Round" (BCP, Riverside).
Additionally, DiVita is a Barrymore Award nominee for Outstanding Lead Actress for her performance as Nancy in "Oliver!" at the Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia. She is also the recipient of the Actors' Equity Association/Alan Eisenberg Award and the Earl V. Moore Award for Achievement in Musical Theatre.
On screen, DiVita can be seen opposite Dustin Hoffman in the soon-to-be released film "Hear My Song," and as the female guest artist on Irish tenor Paul Byrom's PBS special, "This is the Moment." She has also appeared on "The Colbert Show" alongside John Stewart, and she has appeared in several commercials and print campaigns for companies such as Mercedes and Brother Sewing.
DiVita is an ambassador for Global Citizen and continues to advocate and participate in fundraising initiatives that fight for equality and improve the lives of the less fortunate. DiVita also is a founding partner of Empowered Voices, LLC, an organization that fosters creative education and advocates the power of storytelling.
THE UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATER SOIREE is conceived and produced by Megan Minutillo. Volume 3 will feature music direction by Dan Mertzluft, and includes a selection of holiday classics and Broadway holiday favorites performed by some of the best voices in the NYC theatre community.
A portion of the proceeds will go to the SuperYouFUNdation. The SuperYouFUN curriculum and program uses a blended approach to learning to include writing, music, art, presentation, collaboration, and technology for students to notice the superhero qualities in themselves and others so they feel empowered to positively impact the world around them.
DiVita will join a cast that features the dazzling vocal stylings of Melanie Brook, Chris Hlinka, Melissa Rose Hirsch, Jessica Kahkoska, Hannah Kloepfer, Jon Kovach, Alicia Krakauer, Angelo McDonough, T.J. Newton, Monet Sabel, Taylor Sorice, Zachary Francis Stewart, Stephanie Turci, R.J. Vaillancourt, with additional special guests soon to be announced!
