Broadway performer Janet Hubert, best known as the outspoken notorious Viv Banks, the original mom from the hit 90's sitcom THE FRESH PRINCE OF BEL AIR, returns to New York with FROM BROADWAY TO TV, NOW BACK TO ME. It will be presented for one night only, tonight, December 1 at The Laurie Beechman Theater at West Bank Café. John Fischer will serve as Musical Director.

In addition to THE FRESH PRINCE OF BEL-AIR, Hubert's television credits include NYPD BLUE, FRIENDS, THE Jamie Foxx SHOW, Tyler Perry'S HOUSE OF PAYNE, THE GILMORE GIRLS, and THE BERNIE MAC SHOW, as well as reoccurring roles on daytime TV's ONE LIFE TO LIVE and ALL MY CHILDREN. Ms. Hubert's life story was featured on TV ONE'S second season of LIFE AFTER, produced by K2 PICTURES. Ms Hubert has written blogs for the HUFFINGTON POST, and has commentated on some of the most controversial topics on CNN's SHOW BIZ TONIGHT. She penned her own memoir, PERFECTION IS NOT A SITCOM MOM, and created a children's book, JG And the BC KIDS. Ms Hubert also headlined in a musical tribute to Josephine Baker in Monte Carlo, France.
