Come laugh your (BODY PART)_____ off when "Villain: DeBlanks" returns to the Laurie Beechman Theatre on Thursday, February 9 at 7pm. A portion of proceeds will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
Jan Maxwell (Follies, Lend Me A Tenor) has just joined the shenanigans. (Previously announced Lesli Margherita has had to withdraw due to a work conflict.)
The rest of the cast of hooligans will feature saucy Tony-nominee Nancy Opel (Urinetown, Honeymoon in Vegas), the unpredictably zany Andrew Call (Groundhog Day, Grease Live!), American Idiot's audacious Leslie McDonel, dashingly droll Eric Ulloa (On Your Feet!, author of 26 Pebbles), and the wonderfully funny Todd Buonopane (Cinderella, Spelling Bee).
Joining the fun will be special media guest, Adam Rothenberg, host of entertainment website CallMeAdam.com.
A Time Out NY Critics' Pick written by Billy Mitchell, "Villain: DeBlanks" is the uproarious improvisational comedy where the cast says words you put in their mouths. The audience provides nouns, adjectives, verbs, etc. (the wilder, the better), and the actors provide the laughs-uncensored and unrehearsed-as they enact the story of Philip DeBlanks' untimely demise. It's "Clue" meets adult "Mad Libs," and it's never the same show twice!
"Villain: DeBlanks" plays The Laurie Beechman Theatre on Thursday, February 9 at 7pm. Tickets are $20, and there is a $20 minimum. For tickets, visit LaurieBeechmanTheatre.com.
Presented in association with La Vie Productions/R.Erin Craig.
