Bick Goss and Frank Evans, Producing Artistic Directors of Musical Mondays Theater Lab, Inc, have announced the first two previews of new musicals for their 2010-2011 season of Musical Mondays on Theatrical Thursdays productions. The first show, THE GOOD GIRL, will premiere on Thursday, October 28th at 6:30 PM at the Jerry Orbach Theater in the Snapple Theater Center, 210 West 50th Street.
Both new musicals are being developed in the Tony® Honored BMI-Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop, birthplace of Tony winning Avenue Q and the Pulitzer and Tony Winning Next to Normal.
THE GOOD GIRL tells the story of a conscientious, middle-aged, middle-school math teacher who finally jumpstarts her long-idled love life moments before her mother drops dead, leaving her to care for her father. And then her mother sings to her from a jazz club in the great beyond.
