This Friday, August 28 at 7pm, FLY's Jake Siegfried & UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT's Robyn Kimmel present the 1st Benefit Concert "Sweeten the Future" for Kidscook4acause at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, 402 W 42nd Street, NYC. Featuring teen stage, TV and film performers with special guest THE NEXT BIG THING's Trapper Felides.

Teen performers take to the stage, to use their singing talents to raise money for Kids Cook 4 A Cause, an organization that provides cooking classes for kids. The profits go to charities that help kids in need. Kids Cook 4 A Cause was founded in in 2007 by NJ brother and sister Ian and Robyn Kimmel. They conduct cooking classes with all proceeds donated to children's charities. They've supported organizations like: Gilda's Club, The Trevor Project and From Broadway with Love, among others.

Teen performer kids, Robyn Kimmel, age 17 and Jake Siegfried, age 16, along with some of their peers have continued the mission and have partnered with Sweet Generation, a downtown bakery with commitments to supporting Arts Education and providing at risk youth internship opportunities in the kitchen. Featuring planned performances by: Kyla Carter (The Sound of Music), Trapper Felides (The Next Big Thing), Gabby Green (A Little Princess), Matt Gumley (Lost In Yonkers), Ethan Haberfield (Mary Poppins), Emma Hunton (Wicked), Georgi James (Annie), Robyn Kimmel (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), Hannah Bonnett (New Voices), Neil McCaffrey (Billy Elliot), Tracy McDowell (Motown), Alexis Molnar (Dear Evan Hansen), Graham Montgomery (Kinky Boots), Madison Mullahey (Mary Poppins), Avery Pedell (Annie-KOTA),"RAD" (Adam Dorfman, Ethan Khusidman, Liam Thrift and Damon Watson) Laurissa Romain (South Pacific), Julianna Rigoglioso (Mary Poppins), Erich Schuett (The Sound of Music), Jake Siegfried (FLY), Oscar Williams (Fun Home) and more!

Their upcoming first benefit concert brings together Young Broadway and the NYC food world for one night with all proceeds benefitting the Sweet Generations At Risk Youth Internship Program.

There is also a book to promote healthy eating habits for kids. Kids Cook 123 and EAT FRESH FOOD are both written by Rozanne Gold. Ms. Gold is a five-time James Beard Award winning cookbook author.

There will be cupcakes for sale made by Sweet Generation Bakery!
