Musical Theater punk Joe Iconis (two-time Drama Desk nominee for Ars Nova's Bloodsong of Love: The Rock'n'Roll Spaghetti Western) performs a stripped-down evening of his original tunes- both classic and brand new. Spring Awakening star Emma Hunton and Iconis regulars Jason "SweetTooth" Williams, Katrina Rose Dideriksen, and Drama Desk nominee Jeremy Morse, will join Joe for this bloodbath of passionate showtunes and family values.

With Emma Hunton, Jason "SweetTooth" Williams, Katrina Rose Dideriksen, Jeremy Morse and more!
Live at The Duplex
Saturday June 26th at 7pm

JOE ICONIS was nominated for two Drama Desk Awards for his work on BLOODSONG OF LOVE: THE ROCK ‘N' ROLL SPAGHETTI WESTERN, which recently completed its world premiere run at Ars Nova. He is the recipient of an Ed Kleban Award, a Daryl Roth Award, and a Jonathan Larson Award. His theatrical rock concert, THINGS TO RUIN, has played two critically- acclaimed engagements, at The Zipper Theater and at Second Stage Theatre. His garage rock musical, THE BLACK SUITS, played SPF at the Public Theater, his three-part musical REWRITE played Urban Stages and the Goodspeed Festival of New Musicals, and his family rock musical for TheaterWorksUSA, THE PLANT THAT ATE DIRTY SOCKS, completed a summer run at the Lortel Theater and a national tour. He is the bookwriter and a contributing songwriter to WE THE PEOPLE: AMERICA ROCKS!, a TheaterWorksUSA production that will play the Lortel this summer. His In addition to his theater work, Joe has played numerous sold-out gigs with his ROCK AND ROLL JAMBOREE show, a sort of musical theater/ rock'n'roll collective made up his (very very talented!) friends. Joe frequently performs at Joe's Pub, The Laurie Beechman Theater, Ars Nova, and Sardi's.
