FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed "Best of New York" by New York Magazine and "an invaluable New York institution" by The New York Post, continues its Spring 2011 season with the return of Jarrod Spector, star of Jersey Boys on Broadway, on Monday, May 16. His show "Minor Fall, Major Lift" features musical selections that range from the 1950s (Paul Anka, Neil Sedaka), 1960s (The Beatles, Smokey Robinson), 1970s (Led Zeppelin, Chicago) and the present day (Macy Gray, Maroon 5). Musical Director Adam Ben-David leads a quintet of musicians and two back singers. Eric Michael Gillett servers as director. The show is at the Loews Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).
After more than 1000 performances in the hit musical Jersey Boys, Jarrod Spector is taking audiences on the ride of HIS lifetime. From "Star Search" champion to Ivy League dropout and back to Broadway as one of the most iconic rock singers ever - these are the songs and stories of a kid from Philadelphia and his tumultuous relationship with music. His other theater credits include Les Miserables on Broadway (Gavroche); Hamlet (Hamlet), Our Country's Good (Sideway), The Viy (Gorobets) and Twist (Pistol -World Premier, Walnut St. Theater).
