Award-winning composer Jeremy Schonfeld (Drift, 37 Notebooks) and a host of Broadway's brightest stars will take the New York stage for a one night only event "Jeremy Schonfeld & THE BROADWAY MESSIAHS" on Monday January 28th at the newly re-designed Cutting Room recently reopened at its new location (44 East 32nd Street, New York, NY) at 7:30 PM (doors open at 7:00 PM).
"I'm thrilled to be back gigging in NYC on January 28th with the most amazing lineup of talent on or off Broadway" says Schonfeld whose songwriting has been hailed as "successful fusion of rock and theatre" by Show Business Weekly. "Jeremy Schonfeld & THE BROADWAY MESSIAHS" will feature Gary Seligson (drums), Randy Landau (bass), Alec Berlin (guitar) and showcase music from Schonfeld's acclaimed catalogue including Drift, 37 Notebooks and his most recent work Iron & Coal along with other works in progress performed by Schonfeld, his "Broadway Messiahs" and over a dozen Broadway star special guest vocalists who will be announced at a later date.
Jeremy Schonfeld is a singer/songwriter/composer/lyricist. He even acts when they let him (2009's musical film Clear BlueTuesday). Recent projects: The new concept album Iron & Coal recorded in Vienna, Austria, a new musical Spun commissioned by the Bloomington Playwrights Project (in conjunction with Indiana University, where Jeremy work-shopped the musical Kissing Frogs based on his original song "Greta").
