Before there was law school, before there was Broadway, there was a dream: to be a Rock Star, without the rehab. Currently appearing in the Broadway company of If/Then, nationally renowned concert soloist and proud Broadway veteran, Joe Cassidy brings this musky goblet of rock to the hallowed halls of 54 Below backed by a band of worldclass musicians: Drew X Coles, Alec Berlin, Mike Rosengarten, Tony Steele, and Damien Bassman, and featuring guest soloists: Tamika Sonja Lawrence (If/Then, Matilda, Book Of Mormon) and David Josefsberg (Motown, Wedding Singer, Les Miserables). He'll perform the songs of some of his early influences and idols such as Kansas, Styx, Foreigner, Stevie Wonder, U2, and many more!

Joe Cassidy, Rock Star plays 54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on May 8th, at 11:30pm, There is a $25 cover charge and $20 food and beverage minimum. Joe has appeared on the stages of Broadway in Show Boat, 1776, Les Miserables, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Next To Normal, Catch Me If You Can, and currently: If/Then.

He has also appeared in television on Law & Order and in the independent short films, Brando, and Freefall.! !Known for a soaring tenor, Joe has gained a wide audience in the last few years as a highly in-demand vocalist with dozens of the top Symphony Orchestras throughout the United States and Canada and in corporate sponsored events across the US. He has recorded and performed as a soloist in several Pops series under the batons of Maestros Lorin Maazel (New York Philharmonic), Jack Everly (Principal Pops Conductor of the Indianapolis, National Arts Centre, Naples, & Detroit Symphonies), Steven Reineke (New York Pops), as well as Robert Moody (Portland & Winston Salem Symphony Orchestra's Music Director).

54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, is the new performance venue in the grand tradition of New York City nightlife. A few blocks from the heart of Times Square and just below the legendary Studio 54, 54 BELOW is a classically designed state-of-the art nightclub in the theatre district that hosts audiences with warmth and style. The venue provides a food and beverage menu from early evening through the wee hours of the morning that is worthy of the world-class entertainment on the stage. Its sultry after-hours ambience is enhanced by brocade-patterned wall panels planted with orange-shaded lanterns. Located at 254 West 54th Street, 54 BELOW features up to three shows nightly with cover charges ranging from $15-$95.
