In a frenzy of nationwide post-election outcries, New York's theatre artists are rallying in support of protecting equal rights and women's health, and the third day after the inauguration will be no different.
Featuring Heath Saunders (Great Comet), Max Chernin (Bright Star), Amy Linden (Bridges of Madison County), EJ Zimmerman (Les Miserables) and more, "This Pussy Grabs Back" is set to be an evening of fresh, powerful entertainment and a fundraiser for two essential New York organizations - Planned Parenthood and The Hetrick-Martin Institute. All proceeds will be split between the two organizations.
Featuring original works by Joel Waggoner (School of Rock), Joe Iconis (Be More Chill), Shakina Nayfack (Hulu's "Difficult People") and many more, the one-night-only benefit hopes to use the evening to inspire the New York community to get out and do good.
Produced and directed by Ally Bonino and Joanna Carpenter. Music Direction by Yan Li. Sponsored by Loft 227 (loft227.com).
