Harry and Cerveris Join Joe's Pub 10th Anniversary Weekend

The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Andrew D. Hamingson) and Joe’s Pub (Director, Shanta Thake; General Manager Kevin Abbott) announce additions to the extraordinary lineup of the Joe’s Pub 10th Anniversary Weekend featuring 10 for the 10th, a two-day series of 10 free concerts at Joe’s Pub, and an anniversary Gala paying tribute to legendary musician, champion of emerging artists, and New Yorker Judy Collins.

The complete lineup for the free concert series, which will take place Saturday, October 11 and Sunday, October 12, now includes performances by Baby Loves Salsa with Jose Conde; Raul Midón; Jill Sobule with John Wesley Harding; Imani Uzuri Presents Mosaic featuring Haale, Matou and DJ Rekha; The Budos Band; Allen Toussaint; Roy Nathanson and friends with Debbie Harry; Reggie Watts with Kristen Schaal; The Stew Songbook, featuring Michael Cerveris, John Cameron Mitchell, Penny Arcade, and more; and BE IN: A Night of Music & Love with members of the Public Theater’s Cast of HAIR.  A full schedule is available online at www.joespub.com/content/view/153.

Joe’s Pub is also excited to announce that a limited amount of tickets are still available for the 10th Anniversary Gala: An All-Star Tribute to Judy Collins on Friday, October 10th.  The evening begins with a celebration dinner at Chinatown Brasserie, followed by an all-star tribute to Judy Collins at The Public’s Anspacher Theater, and ends with an after party featuring a performance by Joe’s Pub favorite Karsh Kale. Produced by Joe’s Pub and Katherine DePaul (President, Wildflower Records), Joe’s Pub 10th Anniversary Gala will be hosted by legendary WFUV DJ Pete Fornatale and will honor Judy Collins’ impressive career that has spanned nearly 50 years, her commitment to the music industry, and her history with the Public Theater and Joe’s Pub. The concert features performance by Judy Collins herself, Jimmy Webb, Mary Gauthier, Shawn Colvin, Eric Andersen and more great artists to be announced!

A $10,000 contribution includes VIP seating for 8 at the pre-performance dinner at Chinatown Brasserie, 8 VIP tickets to the Judy Collins Tribute with VIP seating location, and VIP access to the post-performance party.
