Harold Sanditen, the versatile performer and host of the über popular Harold Sanditen's Open Mic Party at London's Crazy Coqs will be taking FLYIN' HIGH to his hometown of Tulsa for one night only. On Monday, May 22nd at 7pm, he will be appearing at the Performing Arts Center at Cascia Hall as part of Life Senior Services Musical Monday series.
FLYIN' HIGH is a comic look at travel, with Harold Sanditen, an intrepid traveller who has visited 73 countries and every continent except Antarctica, as your tour guide. Take a trip around the world with this high-octane, highly entertaining selection of songs about a life well-travelled. In Sanditen's inimitable style and delicious voice, you'll hear each song in a new light, with exceptional and unique arrangements.
Sanditen finds the humour amongst it all, from Albuquerque to the Zambezi, with songs by The Beatles, Carole King, Jimmy Van Heusen, Irving Berlin, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Kurt Weill and many more. FLYIN' HIGH originated in London at the Crazy Coqs in 2014, and has subsequently toured to packed houses from LA to Paris . It was also recorded as a live CD, which will be available after the show.
