Ars Nova presents a new Happy Sunshine Kung Fu Flower on Thursday, December 13 at 10PM. Written and directed by Matthew-Lee Erlbach (Till the Break of Dawn), arranged by Ian Wehrle, produced with Jesse Raynes/Praxis Productions, and sponsored by The Onion, the cast for this show features Nicole Alesi, Michael Brusasco, Heath Calvert (Good Vibrations), Colette Hawley (Avenue X), Brooke Ishibashi, and Stephen Sheffer.

Recently a Village Voice Critic's Pick and called "shocking, engaging, funny, and totally original," by Rachel Maddow of Air America Radio, the multimedia socio-political satire follows a group of outsourced Japanese Ninjas hired by China as they infiltrate the American Psyche for the coming takeover by taking on roles in the Media, Pop Culture, and Politics.

Special guest performance by PattyDukes, the hottest Latina Hip-Hop Artist in New York, and recent 2007 Cuervotón Winner, the national talent search that swept the nation looking for raw unsigned Latino talent.

Happy Sunshine Kung Fu Flower has gained a cult following as the grassroots production began a sold-out performance at Lotus, transferring to Comix, and now part of Thurdays@10 at Ars Nova.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased through smarttix.com. For more info go to arsnovanyc.com., and myspace.com/happysunshinekungfuflower.
