Halston, McGlone, Smaldone Join Broadway's Next Hit Musical

The MAC award-winning, super-fancy mock award show, Broadway's Next H!T Musical is thrilled to welcome celebrity guests Julie Halston, Michael McGlone, Valerie Smaldone and Sussie Mosher to the BNHM stage during the month of March at The Triad (158 W. 72nd Street), tickets are $20 and can be purchased by visiting www.SmartTix.com

Broadway's Next H!T Musical is New York's only hysterically unscripted theatrical awards show which the NY Times called "Hilarious!" and the New York Post called BNHM "Remarkable... Something that few improvisers anywhere have the talent, experience and wit needed to successfully do... A spontaneity, wit and inventiveness that must be seen to be believed!" Taking suggestions from the audience, the cast of Broadway's Next H!T Musical brings to life an actual mock awards show, complete with made-up show tunes and genuinely witty banter, followed by the a performance of the evening's "PhonyTM" Award Winning musical.

Julie Halston - Monday, March 14 at 9PM - Broadway's Next Hit Musical celebrates Broadway
Ms. Halston will co-host the evening's festivities with BNHM's very own Greg Triggs. Halston's is currently starring with Charles Busch off-Broadway in The Divine Sister. Her television credits include Bitsy von Muffling in in "Sex and the City," "Law & Order," "My So-Called Life" and"Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and "The Class." Film appearances include A Very Serious Person, The Juror, Addams Family Values, Joe Gould's Secret, Drunks, Small Time Crooks and Celebrity. A veteran of the stage, Halston first achieved fame through her performances in the comedies of playwright Charles Busch, including Vampire Lesbians of Sodom (1984) and The Lady in Question (1989). She performed in a series of one-woman comedy shows in the 1990s. More recent theater credits include Broadway revivals of The Women, Twentieth Century and The Man Who Came to Dinner. She also starred in the 2003 Tony Award winner for Best Musical, Hairspray, and the Tony Award-nominated Best Revival of a Musical, Gypsy. Her performances in White Chocolate and Busch's Red Scare on Sunset both earned her Drama Desk Award nominations for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Play. She has won four MAC awards for her solo comedy performances.

MICHAEL MCGLONE - Thursday, March 17 at 9PM -Broadway's Next Hit Musical celebrates St. Patrick's Day
Michael McGlone will celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a special guest appearance at BNHM. While you may know Michael from his movies and hilarious Geico commercials, he is also a prolific singer/songwriter. His debut album, Hero, was released in 1999, followed by a second To Be Down, in 2002. His new album, Speed, is in final mixing. He began his acting career with a critically acclaimed performance in the Sundance Film Festival Best Film Award Winner of 1995, The Brothers McMullen. Other film credits include She's the One, with Jennifer Aniston, One Tough Cop, The Bone Collector, with Denzel Washington, Dinner Rush with Danny Aiello, and Paramount Pictures' Hard Ball. Most recent news in the world of Television, Michael McGlone is on the second season of Starz' new hit series "Crash," starring Dennis Hopper and Eric Roberts.

Valerie Smaldone - Thursday, March 24 at 9PM
Ms. Smaldone will co-host the evening's festivities with BNHM's very own Greg Triggs. Valerie is a 5-time Billboard Magazine Award winner and is well known for her unprecedented success holding the #1 on air position in the New York radio market. She has hosted, produced and created numerous nationally syndicated programs featuring in-depth interviews with top recording artists such as Paul McCartney, Celine Dion, Rod Stewart, Phil Collins, and Mariah Carey, among others. Valerie can be heard on a variety of commercials and television promos. Her voice has been featured on NBC, CBS, Lifetime, among many other channels, as well as on The Boomer Esiason Show, and on hundreds of spots including IBM, Verizon and Apple. Most recently she has been the Voice of God for many prestigious live events including: The Clinton Global Initiative, The New York Emmy Awards, The Tony Preview Concert on CBS, Broadway on Broadway in Times Square, Broadway Under the Stars in Central Park, The GLAAD Media Awards, The Point Foundation, and many more. She writes a weekly nightlife column for TheThreeTomatoes.com, writes a theater column for Examiner.com. She is an interviewer and feature reporter on Broadway for TonyAwards.com and hosts and produces celebrity portrait unveilings for Broadway stars at famed theater district eatery, Tonys. Valerie also hosts and produces content for the newly formed Broadway Green Alliance, an organization dedicated to the 'greening' of the Broadway Industry, and creating environmental awareness.


SUSSIE MOSHER - Thursday, March 31 at 9PM
Ms. Mosher will co-host the evening's festivities with BNHM's very own Greg Triggs. She has been seen on Broadway and in Las Vegas in the hit musical Hairspray. Her Off-Broadway credits include: Suds, Back to Bacharach & David. TV: "Without a Trace," HBO's "If These Walls Could Talk 2" with Vanessa Redgrave, "Veronica's Closet" and a recurring role on Showtime's "The L Word." Films include: A View from the Top, The Wedding Planner. Los Angeles audiences know Susie as Pepper Cole in the long-running cult hit CA$HINO. www.cashinoonline.com

Here is how it works:
1) The first act is a fancy award ceremony, spotlighting four of the year's "Best Musical" nominees (made up on -the-spot, based on audience-created song titles.)

2) The second act is the entire "Phony Award Winning Musical" including a reprise of the evenings winning song.
